About Elaine

I began as a professional writer of mainstream fiction, releasing my first novel in 2004. I later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University and during that time, by chance, started proofreading and editing books for freelance writers and independent authors.

Once I discovered my love for helping other writers, using my own experiences as a writer, I launched my editing business, Before You Publish Editing Services. This later grew into helping writers and other professionals by producing and publishing their books, becoming Before You Publish – Book Press.
