About Megan

Academic editor, dissertation editor and coach, Black academic storyteller, and creative non-fiction editor

As a productive higher education scholar with over 20 peer-reviewed publications, I draw upon the extensive research, writing and editorial skills that I’ve gained through my graduate education and employment at top-tier universities to assist Black professionals and professionals of color to overcome barriers to their success as in the Academy. In 2018, I established my consulting and editing company, which offers high-quality consulting, research, writing, and editing services to clients, many of whom are graduate students, higher education administrators and faculty, and Black entrepreneurs and small business owners.

What I can do for you

Through my high-quality editorial services, I support clients in bringing their voices and words to life through gaining access to platforms that allow them to break through the existing dominant narratives to speak truth to power, presenting their voices across audiences of academics, community members, and policymakers.

I support clients through each phase of project development, management and completion including: brainstorming ideas, research, editing (copy, line, and developmental), proofreading all copies, formatting manuscripts, and assistance with manuscript development and submission.
