Want to Request Estimates from Our Editors?
Here’s How It Works
Here’s How It Works
Step 1: Plan Ahead
The editors in our network are among the best in the business, so their schedules are often booked months in advance. Do not wait until the month or a few weeks before you need a novel or nonfiction book edited to find your editor and get on her schedule. You should make contact with the editor you think you’d like to work with, introduce yourself and your project, and check her availability. Even if your project is not finished, send her a short excerpt so she can get a feel for your writing and the subject matter of your material. Communicate clearly your goals and needs, and discuss your anticipated completion. By doing this, you will better ensure that your editor can accommodate you when you are ready to submit your work to be edited. You will also discover if the editor you wanted will be unavailable or is not the right editor for your project well in advance, so you’ll have time to reach out and build rapport with another editor without being stressed. The worst thing you can do is pick any editor you can find because you’re rushed. Plan ahead, start early, and take your time to find the right editor for your project.
Step 2: Choose Your Method
If you know which editor you want to work with, visit her profile and contact her directly either via email or her website.
If you’re not sure and want to request estimates from all editors that work with your material and are available, you may use the form below to submit your request for distribution to our network.
Step 3: Submit Your Request

Once we receive your submission, our project will distribute your request directly to each of the editors within our network. Those who are available and interested in working with you will then respond to you directly with their quote and sample edit. They will be able to answer any additional questions you have as it pertains to working with them and their companies.
