🔐 How to Log In

Username Format: First initial + last name (e.g., John Doe = jdoe)
- Go to the login page: https://blackeditorsproofreaders.com/wp-admin/
- Enter your username.
- Enter your password.
- Click Log In.
❓ Forgot Your Password?
If you’ve forgotten your password:
- Go to the login page.
- Click Lost your password? under the login form.
- Enter your username or the email address associated with your account.
- Click Get New Password.
- Check your email for a reset link and follow the prompts to create a new password.
🖼️ Updating Your Book Covers (Gallery)
You can upload up to eight book covers to display in your profile’s gallery.
✅ Guidelines:
- Height: Ideally 300 pixels
- File size: Under 500KB
- Width: Any size is fine, as long as height is 300px
Why? This ensures your images display properly and load quickly without backend resizing.
📌 How to Resize:
Use a free tool like Canva, Pixlr, or ResizeImage.net to resize your images by height, setting it to 300px.
🏠 Home Page Photo & Info
You cannot change your home page photo or info yourself.
- Your home page photo does not have to match your profile photo.
- To request a change:
- Upload your new photo through the media library when logged into your profile.
- After upload, copy the image link (you’ll find it in the sidebar of the image details).
- Email the image link to the site admin and indicate that it’s for your home page update.
