As a queer Black woman of faith, I am drawn to voices from the margins of society. During my years working in the nonprofit sector, both in the USA and abroad, I focused on helping those in the margins find their power and establish the life they want. Now, as an editor, my heart remains the same. My purpose is to support your creative vision and unique voice. I believe authors do sacred work by reflecting the full spectrum of life’s mysteries with their words. Their stories fill the crevices of our hearts and feed the soul.

When I’m not editing, I am a member of the Brooklyn Women’s Writing Group and a contributing writer for their publication, Wild Garlic. I write monthly articles on living with chronic illness for the Global Healthy Living Foundation and craft web copy for businesses to elevate their online presence and reach their target audience. I am also a member of the Advanced Reader’s Club, a group handpicked by Simon & Schuster’s Senior Editor, Yahdon Israel, to provide feedback on upcoming releases.
