Working With Me

I prioritize building a professional relationship with my clients to ensure effective collaboration throughout the editing process. With my extensive background as a copywriter and editor, I specialize in refining various types of content, including fiction (such as children’s books and romance) and nonfiction (including autobiographies and academic works).

As an editor, my focus is on enhancing the quality and flow of your manuscript while preserving your unique voice and writing style. I pay close attention to key elements such as content organization, consistency, terminology, redundancies, and punctuation. These aspects contribute to producing a polished final product that engages your intended audience.

To determine whether we’re a good fit, I offer a sample edit, which will allow us to assess our alignment in vision and collaboration. Before starting, we’ll discuss your manuscript, my editing process, and expectations, followed by signing a contract.

Bio

I’ve always had a passion for the written word, whether it’s reading or writing, which evolved into me becoming an editor and self-published, 2X award-winning author of Christopher’s Timeouts.

With 30+ years of experience, a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature, I have built a diverse skillset in copywriting, editing, and proofreading. My extensive experience fuels my enthusiasm for sharing my editing and writing expertise.

To assist writers on their path to becoming self-published authors, I established Imagine Create Read Editing Services LLC. Through this endeavor, I have had the privilege of editing a diverse range of works, from heartfelt memoirs to engaging film scripts, some of which have earned awards and nominations, showcasing the talent and passion of the writers and authors I have had the privilege of working with.

I especially enjoy working with first-time authors because I’m not that far removed from the initial ups and downs of the self-publishing process, so I want to be a cheerleader for as many aspiring authors as I can. Your voice is important and deserves to be heard.
